A U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captain, John has spent years sailing the Intracoastal Waterway and Indian River, along with numerous trips to the American and British Virgin Islands. His skills with both coastal cruising and open-water sailing ensure a confident, smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone on board.
Before becoming a USCG captain John was a commercial airline pilot, flying passenger jets for over a decade. That background instilled a foundation of safety, protocol and discipline - all qualities which define his approach as a captain. Quite literally, John brings a pilot’s precision and professionalism to every sailing trip.
